Mumford Company was once again pleased to represent Supertel Hospitality in the sale of the Super 8 Motel of Columbus, Georgia to Shiva Hospitality Group, LLC. The buyers are a regional investor group that plans to make renovations to the hotel and retain the Super 8 franchise affiliation. This was the 52nd hotel that Mumford has sold on behalf of Supertel and part of the REIT’s continuing effort to prune their portfolio of older, economy branded assets.
