The Mumford Company was pleased to have once again represented the Richardson Family interests in the recent sale of the Comfort Inn of Virginia Beach to La Quinta Acquisitions, LLC. The sale was structured by David Mumford of the firm’s headquarters in Newport News, VA and Randy Lee of the firm’s office in Dallas, TX. This is the second hotel transaction in which The Mumford Company had the opportunity to represent the Richardson family in the past two years. The purchaser, La Quinta Acquisitions, LLC, plans to convert the hotel to the La Quinta brand immediately upon the transaction closing and will perform extensive renovations to the hotel after the 2007 season.
