The deal was facilitated by a collaboration of Steve Kirby of the Mumford Company’s Atlanta, Georgia office, Tom Sommer of the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office and Randy Lee of the firm’s Dallas, Texas location. The seller was an Indianapolis based, single lodging asset owner with investments in a variety of other real estate opportunities. The buyer, New Albany Hotels LLC a multi unit owner and operator based in Atlanta, plans to complete an extensive modernization program and continue to operate it as a Hampton Inn.
