Mumford Company is pleased to announce two recent closings in the metro Lexington, Kentucky community of Georgetown. The Hilton Garden Inn and the Hampton Inn were owned by a closely held, family firm with longtime roots in the community. The Hampton Inn was previously acquired by the group via a Mumford Company transaction. The buyer groups were affiliates of Rainmaker Hospitality, a major hospitality investor and operator in Kentucky. Plans call for extensive renovations at both properties with the Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden brands to remain in place.
